Eight samples, in your browser. The real one reads your own folders, however many thousands are in them.
And from inside your DAW. One key combination, anywhere on the machine, without leaving what you are working in.

What the licence carries
- The whole of Sonus, nothing held back
- The application, and it as a VST3 and an AU inside your projects
- macOS 12 and later, Windows 10 and later
- 3 machines at a time, freed from your account whenever you like
- Every update
- Your library never leaves your machine
Three ways to find it
Use one, or all three at once: a phrase, inside a collection, at 120 BPM.
-
Describe it
Type what you want in plain words. Sonus searches what the sample sounds like, not what it is called.
-
Narrow it
Tempo, key, instrument, genre, loop or one‑shot. Or the other way round: everything except one‑shots, anything but C minor.
-
Browse it
Your folders exactly as they sit on disk, plus collections on top. A sample can be in several, and nothing is ever copied or moved.

The questions people ask.
If yours is not here, write to hello@opusdsp.com and it probably should be.
Does Sonus touch my files, or send my audio anywhere?
No to both. It reads your folders where they already sit, and never writes to an audio file, renames one or moves one. The analysis runs on your own machine, so nothing is uploaded. Delete Sonus and your samples are exactly as they were.
What is the difference between basic and AI analysis?
Basic reads the filename and the folders around it. It is instant, and it works as long as your packs are named properly. AI listens to the audio instead: tempo, key, instrument, genre, loop or one‑shot, for the files whose names say nothing at all.
Can the AI get it wrong?
Yes. It is a judgement about a sound, not a measurement. Expect it to be right about the big things, drums, bass, pads, loop or one‑shot, and to slip on fine ones. Its job is to turn nine thousand files into eleven. You still listen.
Does it work inside my DAW?
Yes. Sonus is an application, a VST3 and an Audio Unit, so it opens in FL Studio, Ableton, Logic, Bitwig, Reaper, Studio One and Cubase. Same library, same collections in both. Drag into your arrangement and the file goes in untouched.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and it is yours, including every update that comes after. There is no renewal, no yearly fee, and no version of this page where that changes for a copy already sold.
How many computers can I use it on?
Three at a time. A studio machine, a laptop, and one more, which is usually the one you regret installing on. You can free any of them from your account and use the slot somewhere else, as often as you like, without asking anybody.
What if it does not work on my machine?
Write to hello@opusdsp.com with what you are running and what happened. If it cannot be made to work within fourteen days of your buying it, you get your money back. The whole amount, not a credit.
